Hayley and Tim’s wedding was held at a family friend’s historic estate: Rock Hill Farm in Pennsylvania. From the rugged stone exterior of the 18th century home to the life-size oil paintings that lined the walls of every room, this venue infused the weekend with an air of classic vintage elegance. Historic estate weddings evoke a timelessness informed by legacy and familial tradition, and Hayley and Tim’s day was no exception. Throughout their wedding, so many of their choices were a nod to the couple’s family, history, and life they’ve created together.
The Night Before
Hayley and Tim’s wedding weekend kicked off at their rehearsal dinner, featuring shrimp cocktail and plastic cups customized with their dog Patti’s face (named after the legend Patti LuPone, of course).

The Wedding Day

Getting Ready

Tim and the groomsmen shined shoes and fastened cummerbunds in the pool house while Hayley and the bridesmaids did hair and makeup upstairs in the main house. Tim’s bowtie was monogrammed, and Hayley wore her mother’s wedding dress from the 90’s.

The First Look

Hayley and Tim chose to write their own vows and say them privately to each other after the first look. It was the perfect way for the couple to express a moment of intimacy away from the crowds on their wedding day!

The Ceremony

As the saying goes, a wet knot is harder to untie. The ceremony was moved inside to escape the rain, leading to a very cozy living room affair. But Hayley and Tim didn’t let a little drizzle stop them from driving away in Tim’s dad’s vintage BMW Z8 convertible!

The Reception
For the reception, everyone headed to the Aronimink Golf Club. Hayley and Tim greeted guests during cocktail hour as people hung around the open bar and plates of shrimp and oysters. One of my favorite touches was the audio guestbook where guests could leave personalized voice recordings wishing the couple love and good luck!

After dinner and toasts and a quick dress change for Hayley, the party began! The couple were killing it on the dance floor before sneaking off for a semi-private cake cutting. Later in the night, feather boas and glow sticks kicked the party up another notch.
